MORNING 

Arrival & Park Opening (10:00 AM):

Arrive early to beat the crowds and make the most of your day. Captain Pelly's recommendation is to download the ‘Theme Park’ app from the App Store and plan your route using the interactive map.

Book your Sea World helicopter ride at the ticket box to be sure to secure your seats for this iconic Gold Coast experience, as they frequently sell out!

Penguin Encounter Educational Talk (10:30 AM):

Visit the Sea World Penguin Encounter to see the little penguins up close. It’s a cool and calming experience, plus it’s a must-do on your Gold Coast day trip. 

Dolphin Presentation at Dolphin Cove (11:30 AM):

Start your day with the Dolphin Presentation. It’s Captain Pelly's must-see show, and features impressive stunts and the incredible bond between trainers and dolphins. 

Shark Bay (11:55 AM):

Visit Shark Bay to see a variety of sharks, rays, and other marine life. The underwater viewing tunnels provide a unique perspective. 

MIDDAY 

Explore Nickelodeon Land (12:20 PM):

Head to Nickelodeon Land for some family-friendly rides and meet-and-greets with popular characters like SpongeBob and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Explore these attractions, part of the must-see Gold Coast attractions.  

Lunch Break (12:50 PM):

Enjoy lunch at Dockside Tavern or Fish ‘n’ Sails Café - both highly recommended by Captain Pelly! They offer a variety of meal options with great views of the park.

AFTERNOON

Storm Coaster & Other Rides (1:30 PM):

After lunch, get your adrenaline pumping on the Storm Coaster. This water ride is thrilling and refreshing, perfect for the afternoon heat. 

Seal Guardians Presentation (2:30 PM):

Watch the Seal Guardians Presentation. This educational and entertaining show focuses on marine life conservation.  

Ray Reef Feeding Time (3:00 PM):

Feed and interact with the rays at Ray Reef. It’s a favourite of Captain Pelly's, being a hands-on experience that’s fun and educational for all ages, making it one of the many unforgettable Gold Coast experiences available at Sea World.  

EVENING 

Thunder Lake Show (4:15 PM):

Head to Nickelodeon Land for some family-friendly rides and meet-and-greets with popular characters like SpongeBob and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Explore these attractions, part of the must-see Gold Coast attractions.  

Shopping & Snacks (4:30 PM):

Before you leave, grab some souvenirs at the Sea World Store and enjoy a quick snack or ice cream. To top off your list of 'things to do on the Gold Coast', make sure Sea World is your highlight! 

Departure (5:00 PM):

The park closes at 5:00 PM. Head out after a fun-filled day, or take a relaxing stroll around the park one last time.

Not only does it save time at the entrance, but Sea World also offers special deals for online bookings, like the Locals One Pass, which provides 12 months of unlimited entry for just $219. This way, you can focus on enjoying the park from the moment you arrive without waiting in lines for tickets. 

The Dolphin Presentation is one of the most popular shows, taking place at 11:30 AM. To get the best seat, plan your morning around this show by attending the Penguin Encounter at 10:30 AM and heading directly to Dolphin Cove afterward. Arriving a bit early ensures you’ll secure a great spot to watch the dolphins perform their amazing stunts.

For adrenaline junkies, the Storm Coaster is a must! It’s a thrilling water ride that’s perfect for cooling off after lunch, especially if you visit around 1:30 PM when the afternoon heat kicks in. If you’re seeking even more adventure, try the Leviathan, Sea World’s newest wooden roller coaster in The New Atlantis precinct—sure to give you an exhilarating experience! 

Sea World offers multiple opportunities for up-close animal encounters. Ray Reef feeding time at 3:00 PM allows you to feed and interact with rays—an experience that’s both fun and educational.
