Our Shared Mission
The Sea World Foundation is committed to protecting our precious marine life through hands-on rescue operations, scientific research, and public education. Their work ensures that vulnerable marine animals, from whales and dolphins to sea turtles and dugongs, are given a fighting chance in the face of environmental challenges.
At Sea World Helicopters, we provide critical aerial support for many of the Foundation’s missions.
From the skies, we help:
Locate entangled whales in urgent need of assistance
Spot pods of dugongs during annual surveys and population assessments
Transport wildlife rescue teams to remote and inaccessible coastal arease
Monitor marine habitats from an aerial perspective to support data collection and research

Our helicopter operations offer a unique vantage point that plays an essential role in the Foundation’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to wildlife in need. Whether it’s tracking a lone whale in distress or flying veterinarians to a remote beach to aid a stranded dolphin, we’re honoured to be part of these life-saving efforts.
