The COVID-19 crisis is challenging us all – and Sea World Helicopters acknowledges just how important a safe and secure environment is for the well-being of all employees, passengers and other visitors. For this reason we have put in place a highly effective strategy, consisting of:
Maintaining Social Distancing
Social distancing and hygiene signs are displayed all around the Sea World Helicopters facility, staff encourage all guests to maintain 1.5 meters from other guests where possible and wear a face mask when this cannot be achieved.
Upon arrival, passengers will sign in via the QLD Check-in app and will be required to undertake a temperate test for the safety of other guests and staff.
Strict Hygiene Standards
Alcohol-based sanitiser is available for all guests, with automated hand sanitiser stations located at facility entrances.
Passengers aged 12 and over are supplied with personal, onetime-use-only face masks prior to boarding the Helicopter.
Pilots are required to wear face masks.
Helicopter and internal touchpoints, such as headsets are sanitised prior to every flight, with high touch surfaces regularly wiped down using alcohol-based disinfectant wipes.
